The Italian machinery giant Biesse will be making a big pan-Nordic play at this year’s Wood Products & Technology in Göteborg.

“The way that Wood Products & Technology has evolved into a boundarycrossing pan-Nordic venue opens up fantastic opportunities,” says Per-Axel Noryd, Scandinavian Sales Manager, Biesse S.p.A. “Now we’ll have a platform that’s big enough to show the complete breadth of our fullrange programme.” A comprehensive pan-Nordic venue increases the value at all levels for exhibitors and visitors alike. The visitors will get an overview of a much larger offer, and the exhibitors can look forward to an even bigger and more effi cient channel for marketing and sales. Biesse is one of the world’s biggest manufacturers of wood processing machinery. “We’ve been keyed into the Nordic market for quite some time now. So we’re
delighted that Wood Products & Technology is now concentrating on a pan-Nordic platform,” says Per-Axel Noryd. “We’ll be working with our Swedish and our Norwegian dealers at the fair.” Cost-effective production Biesse’s demonstrations and activities at Wood Products & Technology will be themed “More Cost-Effective Production”. “We’ll be showing our customers the methods that are becoming even more crucial to the competitiveness and survival of the Nordic industrial companies. In other words, fl exibility, fast production switch-overs, and smart solutions for utilising capacity.”
Even stronger visitor values Ivan Lindmark, MD of Jon Stenberg AB, the Swedish Biesse representative, emphasises that Wood Products & Technology now offers even stronger visitor values. “The way the exhibition has been developed has strengthened its position as one of Scandinavia’s leading venues for the wood industry,” says Ivan Lindmark. “All the important suppliers of wood processing machinery will be taking part this time. So visitors will get a chance to see a very wide offer. Companies of all sizes, from the smallest to the biggest, will fi nd lots of interesting equipment and ideas at the fair.” In addition to working with Biesse on CNC machining at the fair, Jon Stenberg AB will also be showing machinery and equipment for surface treatment and solid wood processing.
