The international launch-pad for children’s fashions

Pitti Immagine Bimbo is a leading event in the infant and children’s clothing and accessories industry; it is a reference point for the kids’ fashion system; whose international importance is borne out by the growing interest of exhibitors and buyers from all over the world. It is a success-filled fair – the winter edition, held in January 2006, welcomed over 10,000 buyers from 80 different countries - thanks to a formula based on research and dynamism. interprets and anticipates the trends of a constantly developing and changing market. The growth of Pitti Bimbo is not measured only in terms of exhibitors and buyers, but mainly in how the merchandise and commercial offering is presented and segmented.

The event has evolved by defining the styles and trends in children’s and young people’s fashions with increasing accuracy, and by profiling homogeneous niches the way it’s done for adult fashions. In addition to clothing, Pitti Bimbo is the reference point for accessories and footwear - items that now play primary roles in children’s fashions.
More sport, more street and more informal- Pitti Bimbo is focusing on the growing importance of sport and informal looks in children’s fashions.
The Sport Generation and SuperStreet sections are bigger than ever with a total of 111 brands between the two – just like New View with its 47 brands (75% from abroad, mainly England, Belgium and Holland) that presents the best of international Indie fashion labels  creativity.
The sections
Pitti Immagine Bimbo is divided into 5 sections that pinpoint fashion categories for the young set:
- Pitti Bimbo: classic, elegant and urban; big brand fashions
- Sport Generation: sportswear and activewear
- New View: creativity and research by independent brands
- Kids’ Design: shelf items and furnishing accessories, creativity and technology
- SuperStreet: denim couture and streetwear.
