The Job & Career Market at HANNOVER MESSE 2008 is the first port of call for all those who are seeking the “right” employer. From 21 to 25 April trainee engineers, young professionals and technical specialists will be able to forge productive links with around 5,000 exhibitors at the world’s largest industrial technology show. CareerInfo gives attendees a quick update on the Job & Career Market program. Attendees also have the option of registering their desired job profile and reserving a career advice session at the CareerCheck.

On all five days of HANNOVER MESSE approximately 50 business enterprises, recruitment agencies, training organizations and higher education institutions will showcase their career development and job opportunities. Covering a floor area of around 3,000 square metres, the Job & Career Market will be located right next door to the thematically related presentations TectoYou (Hall 26) and RoboCup German Open (Hall 25).

Skilled personnel – above all engineers – are in high demand. Against this background the Job & Career Market will pool the available information and resources. Attendees will enjoy a unique opportunity to establish contact with potential employers, obtain advice and take decisive career steps. The line-up will include the following highlights:
• CareerInfo gives attendees a quick update on the Job & Career Market program. Attendees also have the option of registering their desired job profile and reserving a career advice session at the CareerCheck.
• On all five days of HANNOVER MESSE CareerCheck will provide the framework for one-to-one talks with professional career advisers. These talks will take place at 30-minute intervals.
• The JobBoards will inform attendees about job and training opportunities, work experience placements as well as in-company research projects for university students.
• The CareerTalks will consist of approximately 75 company presentations. Exhibitors and visitors will be able to enter into a dialogue about career perspectives. This represents an ideal opportunity to find out more about potential employers and to discuss details with competent company representatives.
• CareerProfit is a special service for those who want to compare salary levels and gauge their earnings potential.

At 5.30 p.m. on Tuesday, 22. April, the Job & Career Market will open the doors to the exclusive CareerLounge. Selected attendees will have the chance to meet company representatives in an informal atmosphere – often the first step towards a decisive career move. Advance registration is required for this event.
An undoubted highlight will be the legendary CareerNight party beginning at 6.00 p.m. on Wednesday 23 April. This event is targeted at students, university graduates, business professionals and exhibitors.
One month later – from 27 to 31 May 2008 –  the Job & Career Market will take place at CeMAT, the World’s Leading Fair for Intralogistics.
