Exponor will bring together the most important exhibitors from the wood industry
Fimap/Ferralia will be a relevant meeting point for professionals of the sector.
The International Woodworking Machines Fair, will be organized from October 11th to 14th in Exponor, Porto. More than 500 exhibitors are expected in this new edition together with 25.000 visitors.
The financial aids of the European Union, the duty-free for member countries and the acceleration process of the wood industry have encouraged many companies to look for commercial exchanges. According to ICEX, Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade, the exports for wood have increased a 3.7 % in 2005 . The next edition of Fimap/Ferralia will be the ideal setting to contact more than 500 exhibitor companies and professionals that will meet in Porto. One of the aims for this next edition, the last one in 2004 attracted 23.000 visitors, is to bring together the greatest number of professionals and to encourage complementary activities. Therefore, a large agenda of events and parallel activities related to development and treatment of different problems that concern the sector are being organized.
