International Machine-Tool Biennial
Following the excellent results obtained at the last event – the first to be held at the new Bilbao Exhibition Centre – the Spanish Machine-tool Biennial is now the third biggest fair of its kind in Europe. The 2004 event marked a major leap forward, with increases of 30% in exhibitors and 8% in trade visitors, and a large number of foreign firms present. That leap forward was not only quantitative but also qualitative, as evidenced by the high technical profile of the visitors to the event and the importance of the firms they represented, which included world leaders in the manufacture and distribution of machine-tools.

Trade visitors come to BIEMH from a wide range of production sectors, including vehicle makers, automotive suppliers, railway materials, mechanical equipment and machinery, electrical equipment and machinery, die manufacturers, tool manufacturers, domestic appliances, machining shops and plate-working.
