Quba will be presenting a new collection at Bread and Butter Barcelona 2008 January.
Quba Sails is a British clothing company that has got a genuinely original idea; recycling old sails into unique and striking sailcloth jackets and bags, each one very different from the next. The sailcloth is very much at the core of the business both in terms of product and Brand identity, but it is now supported by a full collection of clothing from the Quba design team which captures the spirit of adventure behind the brand. The jackets come in 2 main fabric types; Sailcloth & Technical. The original ‘Recycled Sailcloth Jacket’ is made from ‘retired’ sails, brimming with original characteristics. The ‘Technical Jacket’ is made from a performance fabric and is designed for those who like the feel of the sailcloth products but require the jacket to be fully waterproof and breathable. With the sailcloth as the identity behind the brand, Quba has been able to develop a range of high quality classic clothing, the ethos being to offer the best fabrics combined with simple yet stylish designs and a limited range of subtle seasonal colors.
