Founded on 1.996, Agroibéricos DeRaza has become in few years in a leader company in Spain with the commercialization of manufactured fresh iberian meat .

Spread all over Castilla–La Mancha, Andalusia and Estremadura, DeRaza currently has a selection center, five farms to fatten up iberian specimen and sixty five farms where they breed and fatten up more than 12.000 iberian acorn pigs .

Recent studies have proved that the iberian meat has a high content of oleic acids (monounsaturated fatty acid) in its fats. These monounsaturated fatty acids produce a beneficial effect over cholesterol in the blood, promotes an increase of the HDL rate «good cholesterol» and reduce the rate of the aterogenic LDL «bad cholesterol».

The iberian pork fat have more than 55% oleic acid (monounsaturated) –only olive oil has a higher content of oleic acid–, this shows the unequalled quality of the meats from the iberian pig, that complements with an extraordinary quartering appetizing and assorted.
