Agostina Bianchi in Bread and Butter Barcelona - BBB 2008 July
Agostina Bianchi will attend the upcoming edition of Bread and Butter Barcelona July 2008 where the Argentine designer will exhibit a functional and feminine 09 collection.
Since 2001, Agostina Bianchi has been developing her own brand. The brand is currently produced in Argentina and sold in the internal market and also abroad. Agostina Bianchi’s creations identify each woman as unique, this is why her pieces are not produced in a massive scale, but are part of limited edition collections, representing a woman who values personality and design, and who does not find herself in a uniform. The collection, which includes all types of manual knits also incorporate hand finishes and embroideries. The designer generates a balance among design, functionality and softness of the garments. . The collection that will be exhibited at BBB July 08 includes more than 30 different models in sweaters, coats, jackets, boleros, skirts, turtlenecks, long vests, knit blouses, overcoats and T-shirts, among others. Details such as pompons, huge knit buttons, silk ribbons, wool-embroidered pockets, lace and elaborated button patterns are constant throughout the collection. The color palette chosen is based on earthy colors, warm grey, honey, caramel, ivory, different shades of brown. All these are knit combined with silver, golden and black lurex threads.
