In 1954 Cooperativa Virgen del Castillo was founded, it is the main cooperative of ALMAZARAS DE LA SUBBETICA. Since this date there is very hard work looking for the High Quality. This hard work has made as a result that we have an extra virgin olive oil that is always better than anyone, around the world, thought before taste it. In the heart of the Sierras Subbéticas Natural Reserve, in the middle of Andalusia you can find a huge extension of olives trees were come from one of the best olive oil of the world. In the production of these olive oils you find a mixture of tradition and technology. Tradition in the collection process because of the natural difficulties of the geography were the olive trees are and the natural reserve which around them, high technology to keep the natural characteristics of the oil once we take out from the olive. These words are supported by the numerous awards that we are getting through the years around the world.
